I’ve got Video Game Music Stuck in my Head – The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword – Bazaar

Every now and then a certain song will come along and get stuck in my head. Today it’s the little ditty above from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

I can’t even come close to an estimate for the amount of hours spent inside Skyloft’s Bazaar. One step inside this magical tent and you are hit with an upbeat song that almost encourages you to spend Link’s hard earned Rupees. Walking around the Bazaar was a lot of fun, not only to power up weapons or potions, but to listen to the area come alive.

After encountering characters in the Bazaar, the music changes dynamically to match their personality. Some of the best examples have to be the lonely item check girl whose theme gives off a very sad and desperate feel, or the Gear Shop guy whose theme screams anxiousness and excitement. It adds an amazing amount of depth to one of the game’s seemingly simple areas.

Walk around the Bazaar and take in the experience next time you play The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
