Trine 2 Wii U Patch Live in North America (Jan. 2013)

Frozenbyte has released a patch for the Wii U version of Trine 2 that fixes and adds a number of things. Perhaps the most intriguing addition is that of Wii U Voice Chat. You can now communicate using a headset, or the Wii U GamePad itself. Another new addition is the option to use a Wii U Pro Controller, an addition that will make those whom prefer a classic setup feel more comfortable.

Also, the graphics have been tweaked to look better including the cleanup of some grey areas which also have added color to look. You can watch the comparison video below to see these new graphical updates in action.

Some minor gameplay features and fixes are also present, but Frozenbyte didn’t go into any detail.
