Ubisoft Giving Wii U Owners a Rayman Legends Online Challenge Mode Soon

Wii U owners we’re not pleased after hearing the “interesting” announcement of Rayman Legends’ delay. After the uproar, Ubisoft took to Facebook to announce an exclusive Wii U demo in an attempt to win over their fans. Few embraced the idea and most demanded the game be released on time. Now, we know that a demo won’t be released, instead, we will receive an online challenge mode exclusive to Wii U owners.

This online challenge mode is planned for release in April and will be free to download on the Nintendo eShop. It will feature five different ways to play, one of which is the Land of the Dead. There will be daily and weekly challenges with each receiving their own leaderboard.

Does this ease the pain caused by the game’s delay? I’m not sure, but it sounds like this unique mode will offer up some great fun until September comes.
