Nintendo Digest: Super Nintendo eShop Sales

Another week brings Nintendo fans another Nintendo Download. This week, the highly anticipated New Super Luigi U makes its debut, but it’s the continuation of sales on the Nintendo eShop that has caught my attention.

Super Nintendo eShop Sales

This week, two Nintendo eShop titles can be purchased at a discounted price.

On the Wii U, the interactive fireplace, Little Inferno, is on sale for $4.99. Wii U owners have only until June 26 to take advantage of this (approximately) 66% discount.

For Nintendo 3DS owners, Super Little Acorns 3D Turbo can be purchased for $4.99, until July 8. This is (approximately) a 50% discount. I couldn’t pass this game up at a 4$ discount, so you can expect a review for it sometime down the line.

Nintendo Download – June 20, 2013

This week’s Nintendo Download is jam-packed with gaming possibilities. The Wii U Virtual Console welcomes Mario Bros. and Wrecking Crew, while the Nintendo 3DS welcomes a barrage of Game Gear titles to its Virtual Console. Oh yeah, and for the first time in Virtual Console history, the Mega Man NES saga is completed with the addition of Mega Man 6 to the 3DS VC lineup.

If the Virtual Console isn’t your thing, there are new Nintendo eShop titles, some sales (see above), and New Super Luigi U for those craving more New Super Mario Bros. U action.

Direct Link

Kokuga, a Nintendo eShop shoot’em up that released in Japan during September 2012, has been confirmed for a summer 2013 release here in North America. No specific release date has been pinned down, but we do know the game will be out during either June, or July.

Kokuga can be played by up-to 4 players using local and download play.

Super Mario Bros. Rap on Jimmy Fallon

Mario had to save Daisy from Tatanga, not Donkey Kong. Donkey Kong had a fondness for Pauline. Regardless, this is a fine effort from Tariq Trotter of The Roots.
