Actos Games uploaded a trailer for psyscrolr on Friday, which showcases the game’s “psychic energy” gameplay mechanics, and intriguing pixel visuals.

psyscrolr is a platformer riddled with puzzles to be solved, most of which seem to take advantage of the main character’s psychic energy abilities, and a touch of combat for good measure. The game is being built to around the Wii U GamePad, which will be used for slash and psychic fireball attacks. psyscrolr also features a “disembodied voice” that will narrate the adventure.

psyscrolr is currently scheduled for a release this year and will be a Wii U eShop exclusive.

Spy Chameleon: RGB Agent Sneaking onto the Wii U

Share Button

Trailer Note: Doesn’t showcase Wii U gameplay, though should be similar.

Spy Chameleon: RGB Agent was just announced by EnjoyUp Games and Unfinished Pixel (the developer) for release on the Wii U. Presumably, the game will launch on the Nintendo eShop.

Spy Chameleon challenges you to complete missions by sneaking around using a color-changing mechanic that helps you blend in with the surroundings. There will be 75 levels of sneaking to be done with 3 challenges (beating times and collectibles) in each level, and achievements to be achieved. You can also speed your way through levels to challenge the online leaderboards.

No information on a release date as of right now, though we’ll be sure to announce it once it becomes available.

Shin’en Releases Two More Gorgeous Screenshots for FAST Racing NEO on Wii U

Shin’en is bringing their A game for the release of FAST Racing NEO. Not only does this game look fantastic for a Wii U game, but also for a digital title. While we believe it won’t become “the new F-Zero,” it certainly looks like the best F-Zero alternative to date. Enough of my blabbering, have a look at these gorgeous screenshots.

Meme Run Is Coming to the Wii U eShop and Could be the Worst Game Ever Created

Share Button

Warning: This trailer may make your eyes bleed. Watch at your own risk.

I am generally supportive of indie developers looking to bring their games to the Nintendo eShop (on either Wii U or 3DS), so this post is a bit uncharacteristic of me. I rarely ever judge a game before playing it, but Meme Run is an exception to every rule I follow when posting here on Mini Fortress.

Meme Run – formerly known as “Montage Run” – is being developed by Ninja Pig Studios, and they have their sights set on the Wii U eShop. The game is an amalgamation of Internet memes and is a horrid sight indeed; the trailer actually made my eyes hurt. It’s an endless runner with zero creativity and a barrage of poorly crafted images.

I get it: the developer thinks jamming these memes together is charming, but it doesn’t even come close to that. The thing that I don’t get is that Ninja Pig Studios seems capable of better. In fact, they already have one game on the Wii U eShop (IQ Test) and while that doesn’t look like a masterpiece by any means, it certainly looks more entertaining and creative than this stinking pile of crap.

I sincerely hope Nintendo doesn’t approve this game for sale on the Nintendo eShop.
