IGN has just posted an exclusive Sonic: Lost World Debut Trailer, and things are looking good for the hedgehog. This trailer mixes cut-scenes and gameplay, showcasing a brand new experience for Sonic the Hedgehog fans. It looks like Nintendo may have some influence over this title, as the worlds look similiar to those in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario 3D Land, of course, the game is also reminiscent of the cancelled Sonic X-treme.

I’m embarrassed to say this, but I’ve never played a Tales of game, hopefully, sometime soon. I do know the series has a huge following, which is why I’m more than happy to post this video.

A Sequel to the Super Mario Bros. Movie is Happening

Yeah, what you just read is indeed correct; however, the sequel will be a web comic, and thankfully, not a movie. This web comic is being written by two writers that participated in the writing of the awful Super Mario Bros. movie. So, why should we even care about a web comic?

Well, to be honest, I’m not really sure, but regardless of the quality of the movie, I find myself interested in this web comic. Probably because we know what to expect from the Super Mario Bros. movie property.

The comic will be canon, meaning at least some of the ridiculousness from the movie will return. This web comic will introduce new characters from the Super Mario Bros. universe, but will do so in the same way the first movie did… by making them nearly unrecognizable.

The project isn’t complete as of yet, but you can check out the teaser comic here.

Around 19 hours ago, Orion’s Odyssey: A Pattern Blocks Adventure was officially funded for release on the Nintendo eShop, and DSiWare services. Some of you may remember Orion’s Odyssey from their previous attempt at funding a retail Nintendo DS release.

Orion’s Odyssey: A Pattern Blocks Adventure is a puzzle game originally developed for the Nintendo DS. In the game, you follow an alien robot that goes by the name of, you guessed it, Orion. Orion has the ability to create objects at will, which will ultimately come in handy while helping people during the game’s Adventure Mode.

Orion’s Odyssey will also feature a Free-play Mode that will let you revisit puzzles from Adventure Mode, and a Challenge Mode which promises to challenge hardcore puzzle solvers by restricting puzzle pieces, and changing puzzles entirely.
